Introduction to dance through songs, games, and rhythm exercises. Introduces partner and group dances.

For experienced dancers. Focuses on both improvisation for táncház/”dancehouse” events and preparation of multiple choreographies. Includes a Year End Show and performances at several cultural events and festivals.

Increasing emphasis on partner dances, and continued development of the fundamentals of foot and handwork.

For experienced dancers. Focuses on both improvisation for táncház/”dancehouse” events with the opportunity to take part in various cultural events with the option to perform in a Year End Show.

This class provides an opportunity for older adults who are new to Hungarian folk dance to develop basic improvisation skills for táncház/”dancehouse” events in a nurturing environment.
